Political Correctness

I’m sick and tired of this Political Correctness Cowardess. I consider it one of the worst things to have happened to America. Everywhere I turn it seems as if people are thin skinned. Their feelings are hurt, or they don’t want to offend someone.

Let me get this out of the way right now. I’m not talking about “actual” racism. Racism is wrong and it shouldn’t be tolerated. Whatever happened to “red and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight”? Nobody should discriminate against another “race”, however it works both ways. If you don’t want me to discriminate against you, you shouldn’t discriminate against me. However…just because I disagree with you, your policies, or your actions, doesn’t mean I’m a racist. It means I disagree with you.

Here is something drives me crazy. I went to my nephew’s t-ball game this summer only to find they don’t keep score. Hu?! They don’t what? How do you teach a kid about life with out teaching him or her about winning and losing? Not just about winning and losing, but how to win and how to lose. We need to teach our kids ethics and that it’s okay to stand up for what you believe in. Those are corner stones of life. We have this “everybody wins, nobody loses, nobody is wrong” type of attitude. We need to stop sugar coating everything, and start speaking the truth. Even if that means you might hurt someone’s feelings. There are consequences with every decision that you make in life. We need to teach our kids to stay in school, work hard and make wise decisions. We as a nation need to stop being such babies. We need to get back to working hard for what we want.

We have elected officials and representatives that I don’t believe represent us. We as a nation got wrapped up with this disease called Political Correctness. We as a nation fell for this lie, yet I don’t blame anyone but ourselves. It is time to wake America and realize that we need to stop “going with the flow”. We need to stand up for what’s right. We have documents called "The Constitution” and “The Bill of Rights” that we need to protect and preserve. It’s time to elect representatives that will stand up for what’s right. This November you will have that opportunity to vote in the right kind of representatives. Remember there are consequences for every decision that we make in life. This November lets not regret the people we allow to get elected.
